1) Why Should I Join uTANGO?

We believe the better question might be "Why wouldn't you join uTANGO?"

uTANGO recognizes that singles, engaged couples and newlyweds are struggling to get ahead and to save for their future. Burdened by the rapidly increasing cost of living, rising consumer debt and falling wages, many Americans find themselves unable to save for major life-stage expenses associated with buying a home, starting and raising a family, paying for college and saving for retirement. According to the latest government research, the U.S. personal savings rate is at negative 1.4 percent, the lowest it has been since the Great Depression.

uTANGO is a radically different concept in loyalty marketing that rewards long-term personal and consumer loyalty and allows young couples a chance to earn up to $1 Million in Life-Stage cash rewards for shopping with uTANGO merchant partners and staying married. Never before has a loyalty program offered consumers rewards of this size.

uTANGO is a unique and very powerful rewards program that if properly leveraged can help our Members prepare for major Life-Stage events such as buying a house, having a child, paying for college or helping with retirement.

In addition to Life-Stage rewards, members will also receive $50-$800 in Annual Cash Rewards for reaching yearly Points targets. There are never any fees or payments made directly to uTANGO.

2) How does the uTANGO program work?

Members must be single, engaged or newlywed (less than three years) to join uTANGO. uTANGO Members register with the program and create an account profile. Members begin placing a portion of their everyday purchases through the uTANGO program to receive Points for every qualifying dollar they spend with uTANGO Merchant Partners or using the uTANGO Visa Credit Card. Unmarried Members (Singles and Engaged) accrue Points in their account that can later be applied towards their Life-Stage Rewards Plan once they are married.

Once Members get married, they can select from one of the three Life-Stage Rewards Plans. After a Life-Stage Rewards Plan has been Selected & Activated, the 30 year plan year clock starts. Members can immediately apply all of their accrued Points towards their Life-Stage Rewards Plan Goal.

Members must remain married the entire time they're in the uTANGO program, and they must maintain a minimum Points balance defined by the Life-Stage Rewards Plan they've Activated.

3) Who can join?

uTANGO is available for any United States Citizens over the age of 18 who are Single, Engaged, or Married (less than 3 years). It is free to join and there are no uTANGO Membership fees of any kind. Members can quit at any time without any further obligation.

4) What does Pts mean?

Pts is the symbol for Points. Please note that we have relabeled TANGO Bucks (T$) as Points (Pts) across the site. This change is cosmetic only and will not affect the value of your existing Point (TANGO Buck) balances.

5) What are the Benefits of joining as Single or Engaged? When I marry, can I merge my Points account with my spouse?

Joining while you're Single or Engaged is one of the best ways to maximize the true potential of the uTANGO Program. As a Single or Engaged Member all of the Points you earn will later be applied to your Life-Stage Rewards Plan once you get married. Once this accrued Points balance is applied you will have effectively pre-loaded your Life-Stage Rewards Plan which can have a huge impact on your ability to hit your Life-Stage Reward payouts.

Once you get married and establish an Official Marriage Date (OMD), you can merge your Points with your Spouse's uTANGO account. In order to qualify for this benefit, the account creation dates must precede the Official Marriage Date.

6) What if I miss my Points target?

uTANGO is a points accrual program and is focused on the "cumulative" Points balance, which means annual Points targets can be missed. Members are being measured towards their Life-Stage Rewards Plan reward by how many Points they have accrued at any given point in time.

Only Married Members that have Activated a Life-Stage Rewards Plan are required to maintain a minimum Points accrual target.

If Married Members fall below their accrual target in any given year (e.g. due to a personal hardship), they can still remain in the program.

However, if Married Members that have Activated a Life-Stage Rewards Plans miss back to back Points accrual targets, they can be deactivated.

7) How does Refer-A-Friend work?

Share the power of uTANGO with your friends so they too can begin "TANGOing" towards their future while at the same time you earn US$1,000 when they join uTANGO.

The uTANGO Refer-A-Friend program is a very powerful tool to help Members significantly increase their 30 year Life-Stage Reward payout. Regardless of whether you're Single, Engaged or Married ALL Members can use the Refer-A-Friend program to earn $1,000 for each new member referral. Each $1,000 referral received is added to the Members 30 year payout.

Members can refer up to 500 friends and add up to $500,000 to their 30 year Life-Stage Reward Plan payout!

How it works:

• All Active Members are eligible to receive Referral Bonuses.
• Each new account referred by a Member that successfully registers will receive a Refer-A-Friend credit to the Referring Member's Account of US$1,000 to be added to the Referrer’s Life-Stage Rewards Plan Year 30 Reward payout.
• This Referral Bonus will be granted as Pending upon Referree Registration, but is conditional upon the Referred Member successfully Marrying and Activating a Life-Stage Rewards Plan.
• Activating a Life-Stage Rewards Plan requires the referred Member to confirm that Member is Married AND accrues sufficient Pts to satisfy the Plan Year 1 minimum Points balance requirements.
• Regardless of whether you're Single, Engaged or Married, the Referral Bonus will be posted as Pending to the Referring Member Account immediately upon the Referred Member successfully registering (which includes confirming their email address and completing their profile).
• Remember, the Referral Bonus is conditioned upon the Referred Member successfully Activating a Life-Stage Rewards Plan and until such time the Referral Bonus will be listed as Pending in the referring Members Account.
• If you are Single or Engaged Member and are not yet eligible to select a Life-Stage Rewards Plan that's O.K., the Referral Bonus you earn will be listed as Pending in the referring Members Account and will be added to your Life-Stage Rewards Plan once you get married and select an Life-Stage Rewards Plan.

8) How does Guest Shopping Work?

Members can earn Points from the shopping activity of Friends and Family by e-mailing them a personalized Guest Shopping Link to become a Guest Shopper. As a Guest Shopper there is no need for them to create an uTANGO account. All they need to do is start their shopping session with your personalized Guest shopping Link, then shop through uTANGO, and you will earn all the Points!

10) Why is the uTANGO program only offered to single, engaged or newly married couples?

This is our current product offering. Eventually, the uTANGO platform will be expanded to offer Life-Stage Rewards Plans to couples married more than 3 years.

11) What are Annual Rewards? And will I get them?

Annual Cash Rewards are paid annually to ALL Members for achieving a minimum Points balance that corresponds with one of the three Life-Stage Rewards Plans.

Annual Reward payments for Married Members who have not yet Activated a Life-Stage Reward Plan (still in Evaluation Period) will receive an Annual Cash Reward of $50-$800 (based on Life-Stage Reward Plan target spending) for purchases made with uTANGO Merchants.

Un-Married Members by definition would not be in an Active Life-Stage Reward Plan, but are still eligible for Annual Cash Rewards based on the annual Points balance.

12) What if uTANGO's not in business in 30 years?

In today's world, there is no guarantee that any business will be around in 30 years. However, it is our intention to be here well beyond 30 years to reward our members and continue to provide value through the uTANGO program. Our members active participation and support of the program will help make sure we are here in 30 years and beyond to deliver extraordinary rewards for your long-term loyalty.

The Annual Rewards that we provide each year are certainly comparable with other rewards programs. In the unfortunate event that uTANGO is not here in 30 years, members will have at least been competitively compensated for their loyalty compared to other rewards programs.

13) Do all merchants listed on uTANGO offer Points? Are there any exceptions?

Virtually every item purchased directly through an offer on uTANGO or using the uTANGO Visa Credit Card qualifies for Points.

Please be aware that there are some general exceptions:

• In most cases, purchases made offline or by telephone are not eligible for Points.
• Purchases made online but picked up at the merchant store do not qualify for Points unless specifically noted.
• Points are not awards on taxes, shipping, gift wrapping, or the part of a purchase made with store credits, coupons or gift certificates.
• Use of coupon codes not found on the uTANGO site may disqualify you from earning Points on a specific purchase.
• We cannot award Points for gift card or gift certificate purchases unless specifically noted. (E.g.: GiftCertificates.com and SpaFinder gift certificate purchases earn Points.)
• Prescription medication purchases are never eligible for Points.
• Returning an item will result in a reversal of your Points earnings.
• Most uTANGO Merchants handle merchandise exchanges by canceling the old order and then making a new order. Upon exchange, the Points earnings are reversed but new Points are not awarded as the new order was made directly with the merchant and not through uTANGO. (This policy is set by the Merchants- not by uTANGO.)
• We will do our best to list all Merchant Exceptions on uTANGO; however, they are subject to change at any time—based on policies set by individual Merchants. Several Merchants do not award Points for certain transactions. To see a complete listing, visit our Member Care page and search for "Merchant Exceptions."

14) How does my TANGOTracker work?

Track your Points and Life-Stage Rewards Plan progress using your TANGOTracker. If you are logged in, the TANGOTracker will appear on the right-hand side of most pages on the UTANGO site. For more info on the TANGOTracker, visit the TANGOTracker Help page.

15) Where do I send my marriage license?
